Well that was easy. I see now why rice-boys with no power mods put these things on.
It's pretty damn cool!

Holden, have you adjusted any settings yet to see if you get better response?

i was able to get a pretty flat a/f curve with the vafc - it took high fuel pressures plus 15% of leaning up top in order to stay rich in the middle without being totally pig rich up top.
i think it's a pretty nice little bandaid. i much prefer it to the JR-style devices which do all sorts of things that you can't adjust or even know what they're doing without a voltmeter.

No. I've only started the engine to verify the install.
I'll be leaving the adjustments at zero until I get on a Dyno in April.
I might play around with the VTEC point in the meantime, but I'll do two dyno runs, one on the low cam only and one on the high cam only, to determine where to set the engagement point.

You mean that thing worked! Now you just gotta get to the dyno and see what kind of numbers you can get out of it.

I have a question regarding the normal a/f mixture. So do most people see things run lean in the midrange and really rich up top? I'm seeing the opposite.
